The carrot cake was good but not great the cream cheese frosting is fantastic and the cake is moist but lacking spice/flavor for me and the. The Matilda cake has been my favorite but this one tasted off to me! I remember this cake being so thick and decadent it would stick to the roof of my mouth and have a nice salt edge to it but this one while good is not as decadent and amazing as the past Matilda's I have had I hope they didn't change the recipe :( overall both good cakes but I expected better from for the love of sugar!
