Finally a good Black Owned Soul Food restaurant in AZ!!

Love this place!  The oxtails are amazing, everything is so good!

There was only one shrimp in my seafood pasta, I didn't need the chicken or sausage in it

I got the gumbo. Right off the bat it looked absolutely disgusting. Like someone just slopped something together in a to go container. While transferring it to a bowl, to my surprise an old rotten looking crab leg cluster fell out. At this point I'm already feeling nauseous and haven't even tasted it yet. But I absolutely love gumbo so I still wanted to see how it tasted. At this point I'm trying muster up all the courage I have to even put the spoon of gumbo in my mouth, hoping that despite its appearance, it will taste good. And to my disappointment and literal utter disgust, my first bite of this "gumbo" has a bone or some other hard foreign material that shouldn't be in "gumbo". Nope. Instantly threw it away after that. By far the worst "gumbo" I've ever tasted... maybe even the worst food I've ever tasted in general. 

hard to find Cajun food as good as my mom made, these days! will be ordering again!
