Western Red Cedar Smudge
Sustainably harvested western red cedar boughs hand wrapped with compostable twine. Cedar smudge sticks have been used for centuries in rituals and cleansing ceremonies. Cedar is well known for it's power to purify places, objects and people. Cedar is best known for it's ability to attract good spirits and eliminate negative energy. In Native American tradition it was used to carry prayers to the creator.
How to light: You may use a candle, lighter, or match to light. Hold smudge stick over the flame until the entire tip of the stick is smoldering like the end of a cigar. Then extinguish the flame to let the sage smolder gently.  
Use smoke to cleanse and then extinguish entirely when finished. Never leave lit smudge unattended.
