Best burritos in town. Would 100% recommend the chorizo breakfast burrito

This was my first time trying Cafe Mexicali. The food was just ok (not entirely sure what all the hype is about, maybe I ordered the wrong thing?). I got a steak burrito and the nachos. I also got a pint of salsa.  The salsa had a ton of soggy chips in it.  I thought they were large pieces of onion at first, and then realized they were soggy tortilla chips. 🤢 My brain definitely wondered if this was salsa someone else already ate out of, but it's probably just chips that fell in at their prep station or something? Regardless of how they got in the salsa, kind of gross to discover either way. Makes it seem like old, nasty salsa that's been sitting too long. Photo of some (not all) of the soggy chips I found in the salsa pint. Not impressed with this place, unfortunately.

Best fresh flour tortillas ever, and im addicted to the white habanero sauce! Always a hit for the office's breakfast.
