This is my second time ordering from Cocky Teriyaki￼ and everything I'vetried has been so flavorful and delicious.

I ordered the items. 

First, I ordered a junior sized chicken katsu. It was delicious! It arrived hot, crispy and the chicken was tender and moist. I'm a small female adult (5') and and the portion size was perfect. The serving of sticky white rice (which is the only kind I like) was quite generous. It was all securely packaged, no way it would open if accidentally dropped. I'm saving the container, lol. 

My only very minor suggestion is perhaps is to vent packaging for crispy items so they won't sweat and become soggy. It's never happened with doordash but I've had it happened to a personal order. User error? Lol 

The side salad greens were fresh, colorful  and the portion size again was generous. 

The pot stickers were perfectly cooked - ALL the way through. Too many times I've ordered them elsewhere and they've been practically raw inside, mushy or burned. Not safe to eat. They came in a paper pocket type and were just crispy enough around the edges and soft to easily bite into. Good sized too. An order of three was sufficient but left me wanting more. Next time I'll order six. 

The fried rice was wonderful. Moist, freshly made and definitely enough for two average people. It was still sticky and fresh today. I'm glad I didn't order two! Sizeable enough as a sole entrée. 

The egg bits were fluffy and the diced vegetables were thoroughly cooked and fresh with a slight crisp to the bite.

Both the vegetables and chopped chicken (white chicken not dark) were also well cooked and moist and were flavorful. I didn't stir the dish but I got vegetables or chicken, sometimes both, in every forkful.

Some VERY minor suggestions. Personally, I'd like more onions. Maybe make extra of each add-in a choice in customizing the order? I'm guessing I could call the merchant but that would defeat the purpose of easy ordering if I'm in the way home or in transit. 

Also, I'd like for beef to be a choice of protein, which I prefer. But, knowing how good the chicken is I ordered it anyway. Not having it as an option has been the deciding factor in ordering elsewhere and just deciding to eat something completely different. But, I can understand focusing on just chicken in the menu. 

Last, it would be GREAT to have the lemon poppyseed dressing/sauce a selection with every appetizer and entrée food item on the menu. I don't care for soy or teriyaki, too salty and I have to be mindful of salty foods. So, I ordered the extra servings.

How about a PINT size side order option? I'd gladly pay about $3-$4 for it. I've overheard people asking for larger sizes when ordering in person. What you can make at home or buy in the store isn't the same. 

FIVE STARS overall. A fantastic meal, worth the cost and I'll have leftover rice, which I still didn't finish my half today!

I've ordered two chicken katsu dishes at other places. In the same order I received an entrée that was incredibly overcooked (dry) and the other was undercooked (slight pink in the center). I had to put one in the microwave with a cup of water to moisten it and the other just to finish cooking it.

This review might seem over the top but I like to know what I'm ordering in detail before I make my choice. What better than weird if mouth? 

With tip, tax and fees doordash is not cheap.

Also, I like to give praise where it's due, especially when the food is outstanding.

The hot and <<taggedItemId=2459498879>>Hot n' Sour Soup<</taggedItemId>> was extremely salty and thick. It didn't even taste/ feel like a soup. More like a thick sauce. The curry chicken <<taggedItemId=2459498889>>Build a Katsu Bowl<</taggedItemId>> was ok. They barely give you any curry sauce in the actual bowl. I had ordered extra sauce on the side for extra $ just in case and it was this tiny cup of sauce. For real? I was hoping it would be enough to cover the rice but nope... especially if I'm paying extra.

Ive ordered from this place place 4 times, i will say its a bit pricey but every time the food is on point!

Beef had a lot of fat and gristle but otherwise everything else was great.
