Chowder was good, but seafood combo was fast foody - over fried, not much taste besides batter

The fish, clam strips and shrimp were tasty and the breading was light just how I like it.  Clam chowder was delicious. My only complaint was that the requested condiments (tartar sauce) were missing. The Tartar sauce would have made the meal much better. 

Ivar's are not classic fish and chips at all, but are decent coz they are lighter and less breading.  The Halibut and Chips - avoid.  Poor scraps, usually chewy and fishy.  Cajun fish sticks - really good, the main reason to eat here.  Fries are either absolutely perfect or average insomcistently.  Not much middle ground here.  Fish sandwich is usually 
 nice. .
