Scents of bread crust are perfectly blended with floral notes and hints of candied fruit.  The very low sugar residue enhances elegance and finesse, character and persistence.

Ageing: Primary alcoholic fermentation at controlled temperature, cleaning of the base, Charmat method secondary fermentation for 30 days followed by minimum 30 days on the lees.

2017 Alta Langa Brut DOCG Brandini, Piemonte_750ml (13% ABV)

Varietals: 65% Chardonnay, 35% Pinot Nero.

Coral pink, very bright, with a fine and persistent perlage. An original Franciacorta in a modern style, making skilful use of the Pinot nero grapes. The nose features distinct notes of wild berries, fresh rose petals, hints of apple and tropical fruit. Structured palate, crisp and sapid. The finish is long and well balanced.

Ageing: 20 day fermentation in stainless steel tank followed by partial malolactic fermentation. Refinement for 7 months, partly in stainless steel and partly in barrique. Aged on the lees for 24-30 months with an additional 3-4 months ageing in bottle before release.

Varietals: 100% Glera

Pale straw yellow with delicate aromas of baked golden apple, wisteria, and toasted bread. Bright and fresh with a delicate mousse. 

Ageing: Primary alcoholic fermentation at controlled temperature, cleaning of the base, Charmat method secondary fermentation for 30 days followed by minimum 30 days on the lees.

NV Prosecco Brut DOC, Le Monde, Friuli - Venezia Giulia_750 ml (11.5% ABV)

Varietals: 100% Biancolella.

Fruit is sourced from a single four-hectare vineyard on a steep cliff overlooking the Mediterranean; an example of "extreme viticulture" given the challenges of harvesting in these conditions. Straw yellow with golden highlights; the bouquet shows yellow fruit, herbs and notes of sea salt and honey. The wine is as unique as it is beautiful.

Ageing: 8 months in stainless steel with malolactic fermentation.

2021 ‘Frassitelli’ Biancolella Ischia DOC, Casa d’Ambra, Campania_750ml (12.5% ABV)

Varietals: 100% Chardonnay

A rich and lush body signal the heat of the vintage, yet it is brightened by its characteristic minerality and acidity.

Ageing: Vinification in steel vats for 20 days at 23 degrees Celsius. 10 months ageing in cement vats and large oak barrels, followed by an additional 6 months in
bottle.

2017 'Passobianco' Terre Siciliane IGT, Vini Franchetti, Sicilia_750 ml (13% ABV)

Varietals: 100% Grillo

Description: Straw yellow with jasmine and exotic fruit on the nose. Fresh, fruity and dry with well balanced acidity. Suliccènti, in the dialect of eastern Sicily, signifies ‘sun from the west’.

Vinification/Ageing: 5-7 day maceration on skins. Fermentation in stainless steel with 4-6 months ageing in steel followed by refining in bottle. 

Ageing: Fermentation at a controlled temperature in cement vats and stainless steel tanks. The wine is left on the lees until the beginning of March.

2019 "Suliccenti' Grillo Sicilia DOC, Tenute di Giurfo, Sicilia_750 ml (ABV 13%)

Varietals: 100% Cortese

Straw-yellow with notes of stone fruit on the nose following through to citrus and meadow flowers on the palate. Fresh, crisp and elegant in an effortless way; this is an exceptionally beautiful representation of the area.  

Ageing:  The hand-picked grapes thrive on the family owned hillsides, well exposed to the sun and coastal breezes. Harvest is immediately followed by soft pressing and “in bianco” vinification at controlled temperatures in stainless steel vats. No malolactic fermentation. 

2021 'Gialla' Gavi di Gavi DOCG, La Mesma, Piemonte_750 ml (12.5% ABV)

100% Nosiola.A native varietal (the name means hazelnut). Straw yellow in colour with clean fruity aromas of wild apple, pear and mint. A firm acid core with some roundness; the wine is fresh and crisp and nicely balanced by alcohol.

2021 ‘Sole Alto’ Nosiola Trentino DOC, Marco Donati, Trentino, 750ml (12.5% ABV)

WHITE WINE

Varietals: 100% Montepulciano (Organic)

 Medium-rose colour with a fresh and rich nose of red berry and garden flower. Dry, well balanced with vibrant minerality and a long finish.

Ageing:  ½ saignee method Montepulciano, and ½ Montepulciano vinified as a white wine; ageing in stainless steel.

2021 'Rosa-ae' Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo DOC, Torre dei Beati, Abruzzo_750 ml (14% ABV)

Varietals: 100% Sangiovese

A light expression of Sangiovese with fruity red berry notes and hints of herbs. Fresh on the palate with a mineral backbone; a very versatile food wine.

Ageing: Harvested early to maintain freshness and acidity. Maceration for one day with fermentation in steel tanks 

2021 Rosato Toscano IGT, Istine, Toscana_750 ml (13% ABV)

ROSE WINE

Varietals: 100% Montepulciano.

From the local dialect “Merula” meaning blackbird, this is a tribute to the birds that appear every year on the vineyards at the end of the harvest. A deep ruby red wine with notes of berries, licorice, and dark chocolate. Slight minerality on the nose with a firm and persistent structure, enriched by a fresh peppermint finish.

Ageing: Maceration with the skins lasts 25 days. Aged in new French barrique for 8-10 months, then 15 months in the bottle before release.

2020 ‘Merula’ Salento Rosso IGT, Carvinea, Puglia_750ml (14% ABV)

Varietals: 100% Nebbiolo (Organic)

The nose is aromatic and fine with notes of strawberry, spice and roses. Good body and exceptionally smooth; young tannins with and elegant and clean finish.

3 week maceration of the skins; ageing in large oak barrels (20-60hL) for 24 months followed by 6-8 months in the bottle.

2017 Barolo Serralunga d'Alba DOCG, Ettore Germano, Piemonte_750 ml (ABV 14%)

100% Barbera

Tasting Note: Intense ruby red with violet reflections. Bouquet of raspberries with a hint of herbs. On the palate the wine is broad and well-structured with good acidity, and a long persistent finish. An immensely versatile food wine. 

Vinification/Ageing: A single vineyard Barbera made from old vines and aged partly in large Austrian oak barrels and partly in smaller 500-litre casks over 12 months, followed by blending in stainless steel vats prior to bottling.

2018 'Moliss' Barbera d'Asti Superiore DOCG, Agostino Pavia & F.lli, Piemonte_750ml (ABV 14%)

Varietals: 100% Nocera

Deep and intense ruby red with aromas of white pepper, geranium, myrtle and ripe Noto figs. On the palate it is soft and persuasive.

Ageing: Fermenting in stainless steel vats on the skins for 7 days. Racking with soft pressing by malolactic fermentation in stainless steel. 

2018 Nocera DOC, Planeta, Sicilia_750 ml (12.5% ABV)

Varietals: 100% Sangiovese

Description: Ruby-red colored. This wine develops fruity and floral notes. The nose reveals hints of rose, cherry and sweet spices. It is a full-bodied wine of quick and easy approach which demonstrates how the Sangiovese can also be soft and pleasant, far from any roughness and aggressiveness.

Ageing/Vinification: Fermented at a controlled temperature with maceration on the skins for about three weeks with punching down at regular intervals. Short passage in oak barrels followed by bottle ageing before sale.

2019 "Aulente Rosso' Rubicone IGT, San Patrignano, Emilia - Romagna_750ml (ABV 14%)

Varietals: 100% Frappato

ADescription: An excellent example of this native Sicilian varietal, Belsito has all the spice, red licorice, incense and wild berry character of a true Frappato. Medium bodied with finely integrated tannins. Drink it slightly chilled to highlight all of its refreshing qualities.

Vinification/Ageing: Fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks.

2020 'Belsito' Vittoria DOC, Terre di Giurfo, Sicilia_750 ml (ABV 13.5%)

Varietals: 100% Nebbiolo (Organic)

Typical garnet Nebbiolo colour. The nose has great depth with notes of rose, oregano and mushroom. On the palate, the body is firm with bright acidity, fine-grained tannins, and complexity.

Ageing: Spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Followed by the ageing for 12 months in big barrels before bottling.
