I've never tried mackerel that is cooked so well and so yummy.
All the food was well balanced, salad dressing is really home made (not the regular mayo), and mochi is so yum and soft.

Unbelievable! The serving sizes are absurd. The container's height measures 2.5", yet the actual food content barely reaches 0.5".... more like 1 cm (I just had to measure it!) I understand the rising costs and the challenge of high rent in Palo Alto impacting expenses, including food. However, this restaurant increased prices with a substantial reduction in portion sizes, while the container dimensions remain the same.

Pitiful. So expensive for the smallest serving in the world. The curry itself was quite good, the katsu was underwhelming at best 

I was disappointed with the tonkatsu ramen. One slice of rubbery cha shu, too many green onions (nearly overpowered everything), and mediocre broth. The gyoza were below average and the dipping sauce came in a packet. How are you supposed to dip into a packet? It wasn't good sauce either, tasting like just raw vinegar and soy sauce with no seasoning (no sesame oil, garlic, or ginger flavor--if these were in there too much vinegar blew it out). My partner said the curry katsu was good, though he thought the wilted little salad on the side was weird.
