This is one of our 2 favorite Italian restaurants in Charlotte. The food is consistently good, and we have never been disappointed in anything we've tried. This restaurant does not drown its pastas in sauce or smother the flavors of its excellent food in salt and garlic. The salads are quite good as well.

The best meal Ive had in a long time! <<taggedItemId=2980689612>>Calamari<</taggedItemId>> were long thick flavorful strips. Not oily or heavy. The <<taggedItemId=2980689650>>Gooey Butter Cake<</taggedItemId>> was actually round with strawberries and not too sweet! Just moist and delicious! The <<taggedItemId=2980689618>>Lasagna<</taggedItemId>> was great too but did wish for more mozzarella but was still great!!

Lobster and shrimp pasta was spicy, which I didn't see in the description, and there wasn't much lobster. The loster also wasnt meaty.  Food was warm upon arrival. No flatware bagged with meal.
