Some of the best soul food in Houston. Delicious and good sized portions. Seasoned well and not too salty for those of us with high blood pressure. Plus they have kool aid! I've eaten there a dozen times and everything I have had so far is delicious. 

I had the catfish dinner with three sides: yams, cabbage and collard greens. Everything was very flavorful. I've been to several soul food restaurants and as of now, Mimi's is the best. Her yans and cornbread dressing never fail!

I love Micki's food but the service leaves a lot to desired. This is the THIRD TIME I have ordered  as something is missing ; no cornbread ; greens too spicy as is the beef tips . Sad to say this may be my last order 

There Alfredo Tilapia Dinner was so good the best thing i've had from this place so far.Now, I wanted to try there homemade Tea Cakes, and maybe it's just a preference thing but i've always had tea cakes more on the softer side. Y'all Tea Cakes was way on the harder side maybe too hard. They weren't nasty or anything. 10/10 recommend the Alfredo Tilapia.
