Hatcher Alicante Bouschet 2018

These Cabernet Franc grapes were planted specifically for the Hatcher winery 7 years ago. The vineyard is located near Lake Melones and is owned by the Grant Family. Aromas of cooked blackberries and dry-cut hay, with subtle hints of oak. The mouthfeel is dry with medium tannins. Flavors of plum, anise, and clove. The finish is full body with the help of some Malbec. This wine has a lot going on. Pair with a New York steak on the barbeque. Go with the Kingsford Briquettes. Old school.

Hatcher Cabernet Franc 2018

Everyone loves a California Cab, and this is an excellent one from the Foothills. Loved by wizards and nobles, this is one of the wines you have at the end of a highly successful adventure.

Hatcher Cabernet Sauvignon 2018

Estate fruit from Hatcher's Tyee Vineyard in Vallecito, California. Barrel aged 30 months in 33% new French oak. Aromas of cherry and pomegranate, savory flavors of raspberry and cherry. Minerality and bright acidity make for a wine that will pair well with rich winter fare.

Hatcher Carignane 2018

This Charbono was grown by Cooper Vineyards in Amador County. Dark in color, aged 30% new American oak. Hints of violets and forest. The mouthfeel is full-bodied. Raspberries, cherries, and medium tannins on the finish.

Hatcher Charbono 2018

From two vineyards in Calaveras County, 6 Mile Vineyard and Indian Rock Vineyards. Aged 8 months between our new 800-gallon Austrian Cask and a stainless-steel tank. Light yellow in color. The nose is very inviting. Hints of cut grass, melon, and fresh air after a spring rain. The front of the mouth is round and leads into a medium mid-pallet that is very pleasant. Our Sierra Foothills Chardonnay has to balance a warm climate. The cask helps build body but doesn’t overpower the flavor. Pair with your favorite salad.

Hatcher Chardonnay 2022

Fruit sourced from the Beckman Vineyard in San Andreas and the Grant Ranch Vineyard near New Melones Lake in Angels Camp. Hints of plums and blackberries on the nose with a trace of Good and Plenty Licorice Candy. Medium-bodied with depth and complexity. A lovely finish of strawberries with light tannins. The ideal red wine to watch the sunset from the porch on a warm summer night. It’s the new Mrs. Hatcher’s favorite!

Hatcher Cinsault 2019

Pleasant red in color. The nose has a strong expression of American oak and candied fruit. The mouth feel is medium-bodied, making it perfect for summer drinking. Plum, currant, and wood structure. Now that we have been making and growing this varietal on our Estate vineyard in Angels Camp, it’s very consistent year after year. Pairs perfectly with BBQ Chicken.

Hatcher Estate Zinfandel 2017

Light hints of strawberry and plum. Perfect for summer. Mouthfeel is elegant. Flavors of raspberry and spice, like nutmeg and cinnamon. Finishing with a light tannin structure. Great wine to drink before a meal or pair with chicken or pork.

Hatcher Grenache 2018

The grapes for this Merlot came from two vineyards in Vallecito, California, 6-Mile Vineyard as well as a small portion from our Tyee Vineyard. Dark red in color, nose smells like forest floor and rose petals. Cherries, currants and French oak round out a very nice tasting Merlot.

Hatcher Merlot 2018

The fruit for this wine comes from a close friend’s vineyard located behind a gorgeous house in Murphys. The vineyard has a very small yield and is rarely bottled on its own. The nose smells like dark or heavy Rose petals, maybe forest floor after a rain, and hints of French oak. This Petit Verdot is very tannic, very rich dark fruit that will last a long time. Blueberry, blackberry, leather, and tight grain French oak.
