I had to take a star away because the fufu smelled and tasted musty. idk if it's supposed to taste that way or not because it's my first time trying it, but if that's what it's supposed to taste like, no thank you. the chicken pepper soup was AMAZING, though, so that made up the other four stars.

I order  jollof rice. the food is seasoned very well and taste is amazing BUT the portions are small and not worth the price. For a  small u get 1 drum stick and a lot of rice. for a large you get 2 drum sticks and a lot of rice. thats it. the picture has a salad.....you do not get a salad. which is crazy because most african and Jamaican places give u very good portions. this place isnt one of them. shouldnt be more than $20 when you only get 1 protein and 1 side. no other place in buffalo charges like that. And i only got it because i had a credit.

This is the second time this has been an issue. The is not enough meat! If I wanted mostly rice I would of just ordered rice and got meat as a side. This is unacceptable! And then I ask for a boiled egg and even wrote it in the special instruction and they still did not add it. For the price this is unacceptable. I think this place needs to be canceled. Great food tho just not enough meet

So Fufu is essentially mashed potatoes, but a little starchier/stickier. I got the Egushi with beef. The beef was very much overcooked, dry like jerky. I don't mind this as I intentionally overcook all my meat, but regular american beef eaters might find that offputting. Taste was great. Spicy and spinachy.
